THE LEGENDARY MR WHOPPIT
Mr Whoppit was not only a record breaker on water but also on land.
His cars and boats were all called BLUEBIRD and whenever he was out for a record his 'skipper' Donald Campbell went with him too.
They broke world speed records together!
In 1964 (the same year) they broke the water and land speed record as well.
Even now Mr Whoppit and Donald Campbell remain the only holders of this prestigious double.
